London: The Garnstone Press, 1966. First Edition. 16mo. Orange saddle-stapled wraps. Spine and upper edges sunned. Very good plus. 80pp. (Item ID: 23237)

Pocket-sized shopper's guide to Swinging London, with a foreword by Mary Quant ("I hate boutiques"), whose Bazaars are glowingly praised within. Illustrated throughout with drawings by Humphrey Barclay and photographs by Dina Wathen Thompson, whose models wear hats credited to Hecate for Xanthe and sometimes little else. Each listing includes a pithy description and fashion overview: from Biba ("the most fantastic boutique in London") and Deliss (where Monica Vitti and Catherine Deneuve shop), to Periwigs of Knightsbridge (which only uses real human hair in its creations) and The Gloryhole Boutique ("an imaginative improvement far from the grandmother type of gloryhole I seem to remember.") With a map of London, four pages left blank for the reader's own notes and discoveries, and five pages of advertisements.
