Edited by Michael Vranich (1946-2010), known in the Detroit scene as a performance poet and guitar player. Includes poems by Keith Waldrop, Archie Anderson, Jim Krepps, Michael Mathis, Vranich, Robert Serling, Garth Fagan, and Walter Hall. The first issue of Free Poems Among Friends was edited by John Sinclair and published by the Artists' Workshop Press in 1965; this issue is dated June 1969 but lists no publisher or issue/volume number.
