[London?]: [Cecil Beaton], [ca. 1940s or '50s]. Thick card measuring 12" by 9.75" with affixed gelatin-silver print (9.5" by 7.75" approx.). SIGNED by Beaton underneath photo (very faded); with stamp reading "Cecil Beaton / Photograph" to verso. Aside from faded signature, about near fine, with some wear along edges of card; else clean and sharp. (Item ID: 21319)

Undated commissioned portrait by Beaton depicting a high-society mother and child. Almost certainly photographed and printed at his own studio, as it bears only his proprietary stamp. The landscape background is quite similar to that of Beaton's 1940 portraits of Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother and then-Princess Elizabeth II.
