(Oakland): (Creative Growth Art Center), (1999). First Edition. Square 4to. Photographic boards in printed dust jacket. Near fine in a good-only DJ. Large chunks of jacket's rear panel missing, with added layer of white paper covering gaps. Remainder of jacket a bit grubby. Interior of book overall clean and sharp, if lightly toned at points. 183pp. 0967316006 (Item ID: 20922)

Extensive look at Judith Scott's artworks, most of which are enormous yarn structures vaguely similar to the human form, reminiscent of sarcophagi. A compelling body of work; as MacGregor puts it in the book's blurb: "She does not know that she is an artist, nor does she understand that the objects she creates are perceived by others as works of art."
