(Detroit, MI / Madison, WI): (Black & Red / Radical America), (1970). Second printing. 8vo. Saddle-stapled photographic wraps. Near fine. Minimal nicks to two corners. Else clean, bright, and crisp throughout. 20pp. (Item ID: 20080)

Lovely edition of a text by the noted anarchist author, founder of BLACK & RED magazine (Kalamazoo, MI), and publisher of early American printings of situationist writings. The essay, first published by Black & Red one year prior, discusses the reproduction of labor power in contemporary social life. Features two upturned triangles of text inside covers (in the style of colophons), printing quotations from Marx above images of his head; also includes glossy, screenprint-style images of abandoned factories. "Capitalism is not simply the work you do for a boss who sells goods for a profit, it encompasses every aspect of everyday life, and is reproduced by our conditioned responses to it." OCLC finds four copies of this edition. [Ford 202].
