Greenich, CT: Fawcett Publications / Gold Medal Books, (1964). First American edition. 16mo. Photographic wraps. A very good copy. Light edgewear and surface marks to wraps. Small dents in front cover affecting first nine leaves. Top edge stamped "Seafarers Log Library," but book shows no other remnants of library use. Interior otherwise clean and bright throughout. Good and sound. 192pp. (Item ID: 18925)

Published the same year as the British first edition, likely one of the very first uses of the term "Generation X" as applied to the post-boomers. Collects quotes from the authors' interviews with British youths, who exude disaffection and snottiness at every turn, providing gems such as "I feel right proud of myself when I can bash someone in," and "I'd marry anyone to spite my parents." Provides significant (if sensational) journalism on 60s British youth.
