Price: $50.00

New York: 1980. First Edition. Large 8vo. printed stapled self-wrappers. Offset printed. Very good plus with some light toning and creasing at rear wrap. Else clean and sound throughout. (Item ID: 17118)

Arguably the most important document to emerge from the L=A=N=G=U=A=G=E movement, Andrews and Bernstein's journal published some 16 issues (13 issues proper, plus various supplements) from 1978 through 1981. With its austere production and design (by Bernstein's wife Susan Laufer/Bee), in many ways the clearest expression of the aesthetic and the movement fully matured. Contributors to this issue includeAlan Davies, Rae Armantrout, Bill Berkson, Maureen Owen, Tina Darragh, Robert Owen and others. [Clay and Phillips, 235].
