np: nd, [ca. 1900]. Color lithographed card, measuring approximately 5 1/2" x 3 5/8". Interior of card filled with sand. Small windows to recto and verso fill with sand when card is rotated. Sand intact. Mild wear. Overall well preserved. (Item ID: 15236)

An uncommon movable sand card showing a woman milking a cow to recto and captioned: "MINNIE THE MILKER." A bucket fills with sand, when rotated. Verso depicts the milk maid in an outhouse. The toilet fills with sand as the card is rotated. Humorous. Scatological. Rique for the period, likely circa-1900.
