Jacket moderately foxed to interior, just visible to exterior. Tiny area of wear to upper spine end. Cloth with two small spots of discolor at front gutter. Pastedowns, endpapers with bands of toning, moderate foxing. Presents well, generally a clean, sound copy. (Item ID: 14749)

Lovely first printing of Lomax's collection of two, novell-length stories. The first, titled "Nora", was based primarily on his experiences with and taped interviews of Southern gospel and folk singer, Vera Ward Hall. With jacket art by Mozelle Thompson. 209pp.
