(Item ID: 13922)

A warm and revealing inscription from the Nobel winning playwrite to Alfred G. Arvold, who was instrumental in the US for the development and spead of the "little theater" movement. He was a noted regional theater figure and founded the Little Country Theater in Fargo, ND. Inscribed to him by Shaw at the Malvern Theater, whose yearly festivals were noted for the stagings of Shaw's plays. An uncommonly detailed and lengthy inscription.
