Memoir of Canfield's life in publishing as long-time head Harper & Bros. and Harper & Row. Inscribed to then National Security Advisor and future Secretary of State Henry Kissinger. Canfield and Harper published Kissinger's first two books: Nuclear Weapons and Foreign Policy (1957) and The Necessity for Choice: Prospects of American Foreign Policy (1961). A nice association. Ex-libris Henry Kissinger via Nixon Library deassession (no marks) via the annual State Department book sale with their "Kissinger Collection" provenance card loosely laid in. 272pp. with index.
