New York: William Morrow, 2003. Second printing. 8vo. Near fine in VG+ unclipped jacket. Minor rubbing to jacket. A couple of touches shelfwear to extremities. Small closed tear to rear corner jacket. Else bright, tight, sharp and clean. SIGNED by author Davis to title page. 0688167810 (Item ID: 13301)

Rare signed copy (this the second printing) of Amanda Davis' debut novel, follow-up to her acclaimed short story collection "Circling the Drain." Davis did just two small signings for this book in the South before tragically dying on a plane crash on the way to her next appearance, only a couple of weeks after the book's publication. A novel based on the author's own experiences performing with a small circus, it was very well received and went on to be a bestseller. Only the second signed copy of this we've seen since the book was published.
