Minor rubbing to extremities. Contemporary bookplate to front pastedown. Some foxing internally. Else clean and sound. 12 aquatints, all present. Very good. (Item ID: 12891)

First edition with Clark's plates, first thus of this handsome edition of Butler's mock epic. Extra page bound in to end of volume one with a holograph note about the poem. 444pp. and 494pp., both with index and notes.
