New York: Wing's Club, 1988. First Edition. 8vo. Original blue cloth. No DJ, as issued. Fine. Inscribed, dated and SIGNED by Armstrong to ffep to longtime Pan Am spokesman Jeff Kreindler. Blue ink on grey endpaper a little faint, but still clear and legible. 25pp. (Item ID: 12473)

A largely technical discussion of the challenges posed by space flight and the development of the lunar module. Remarkably (or perhaps not given Armstrong's famed desire for privacy), WINGLESS represents the only separately published work from the first man to walk on the moon. A scarce book and an uncommon signature; beginning in the early 1990's Armstrong refused autograph requests. Rare thus, and a nice association between two airmen.
