A new edition with a biographical sketch of the translator by H.L. Hastings. R[owland] V[ictory] Bingham's copy with his signature and date to prelim and his notes, marginalia and underlining to the first hundred or so pages. Bingham was co-founder of the Sudan Interior Mission, which continues to this day as the Society for International Ministries, one of the largest and most influencial Protestant missionary organizations in the world - esp. in Africa.
